Brandi Rhodes Calls Cody Rhodes’ Promo On 5/12 AEW Dynamite ‘A Piece Of History’
Brandi Rhodes defends what Cody Rhodes had to say on the May 12 episode of AEW Dynamite.
While challenging Anthony Ogogo to a match at Double Or Nothing, Cody Rhodes took a very patriotic stance and defended America while admitting that, in the modern-day, patriotism is not as en vogue as it once was, Cody Rhodes revealed that he is very proud to be an American and will be calling himself “The American Dream” in this upcoming match against Ogogo.
Instead of dealing with the American Nightmare @anthonyogogo, you’ll now be trying to beat the second coming of the American Dream at Double or Nothing — #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/C5CVAXP0o6

Cody Rhodes also spoke openly about his soon-to-be-born daughter and how she will be biracial and love both sides of her heritage equally. Reacting to this promo on Twitter, Brandi Rhodes called it a piece of history and said she cannot wait to share it with their daughter when she is old enough to understand.
That promo was a piece of history. I’ve never been moved like that. I wasn’t ready for it. I can’t wait until our daughter is old enough to understand it. #AEWDynamite

I have my masters and had a full ride to Michigan. You present yourself as an educator…yet you try to reduce a woman to not being smart because her opinion differs from yours…about a wrestling promo. What message does this send? https://t.co/HknxuQD3dG

Despite the fact that Cody Rhodes will be calling himself “The American Dream,” Cody abandoned that trademark earlier this year. Learn more here.
