16-time world champion John Cena appeared at the Oscars on March 10. He was seemingly naked, aside from the envelope he was holding, as he presented the award for Best Costume Design.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame with co-host Brad Gilmore, Booker T was asked to share his thoughts on the nature of Cena’s appearance at the Oscars.
“That was risky, but it just goes to show you how far we have come and how far John is willing to go to entertain. That’s all. That’s all it is. That’s a wrestler, doing something like that. Wrestlers gonna put themselves out there, good ones, really, really good ones, they’re gonna try to figure out how I can embarrass myself to the utmost to entertain somebody. That’s just the way we do it,” Booker T said.
