Bobby Fish On CM Punk: Not Sure You Can Be A Bully If You Can’t Fight

CM Punk is back in the news for a backstage altercation that happened at AEW All In with Jack Perry.

According to reports, Punk and Perry got into a confrontation following Perry making a comment about “real glass” during his match with HOOK, referencing a previous incident between Punk and Perry. The confrontation reportedly got physical, though things settled long enough for Punk to go out and have his opening contest against Samoa Joe.

Bobby Fish, who previously issued a challenge to Punk after AEW All Out 2022, was informed of Punk’s latest incident and gave his thoughts on his Undisputed podcast.

“I said my piece one time, way back when, and I caught nothing but flack for it. All it was for me was, if you’re looking to fight everybody, you don’t have to go very far if I’m there, and I was there for a year. I’d be happy to indulge the man. At my age, dare I say at his age, is that what two grown men should be doing? No, probably not, but he’s running around trying to fight Dylan McKay’s [Luke Perry’s character on 90210] kid. That makes you kind of a bully, but you can’t fight. Not sure you can be a bully if you can’t fight. It is what it is. It’s pro wrestling, you can do whatever you want,” said Fish.

When it was joked that the whole thing might be a work, Fish replied, “I’d be so impressed and be so happy. It’d be awesome. I’d be down for it.”

Fish left AEW in August 2022 after his contract expired and was not renewed. He worked for various independent promotions and IMPACT Wrestling after leaving AEW.
