Big E Wins SmackDown Tag Team Titles For New Day On WWE SmackDown
The New Day are now eight-time Tag Team Champions thanks to Big E.
On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Big E captured the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a triple threat singles match against The Miz and Jey Uso. Big E was taken out of the match early when he was put through the announce table on the outside. But he managed to recover and hit The Big Ending on The Miz to score the victory.
The match came together following WrestleMania 36 when John Morrison, Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston competed in a triple threat ladder match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. On Friday, the partners who didn’t compete at WrestleMania got a chance to defend or regain the gold.
