Big E Says His Love For The New Day Supersedes Brand Loyalty

As much as Big E loves being a member of the Friday Night SmackDown roster, there is no more important bond for him than his relationship with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Survivor Series is billed as the one night a year when superstars from Monday Night Raw face superstars from Friday Night SmackDown and this year, Big E is caught in a quagmire concerning his loyalty.

In the 2020 WWE Draft, Big E was drafted to SmackDown, while his New Day stablemates were drafted over to Monday Night Raw. At the upcoming Survivor Series event, Kofi and Xavier will face Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, The Street Profits, in a match pitting two WWE Tag Team Championship teams against one another.

When asked by Sportskeeda whether or not his loyalty would lay with his New Day brethren or his brand, Big E said the choice is very simple, there’s no replacing the bond of The New Day.

“Look, I…that’s an easy question. I know during Survivor Series, we’re supposed to be very ‘pro brand’ and ‘yay, our brand!’ But the love for Kofi and Woods easily supersedes the love for the brand. So, I got to go with Kofi and Woods. That’s a no-brainer. Kofi and Woods all day. Love The Street Profits. Respect The Street Profits. What they do is incredible in the ring. They are just this force of entertainment. But, easily Kofi and Woods.”

The Street Profits are convinced that Big E will play a role, one way or another, in the match at Survivor Series. Learn more at this link.
