Big Cass Threatens Joey Janela’s Life In Deleted Tweet, Says It Was A Work; Janela Responds

Big Cass returned to social media on Monday and made waves in a now-deleted tweet.

Cass sent out a tweet on Monday afternoon where he threatened the life of Joey Janela. The tweet read, “Hey @janelababy. Say one more word about me and your life will end. Real talk. #HowYouDoin.”

The tweet was deleted shortly after going live. Fightful reached out to Cass’ manager for clarity on the situation.

It was the first tweet Cass had sent since Sept. 17, when he stepped away from the spotlight following an incident at WrestlePro where he chased Janela around the locker room, threatening to kill him. The situation was resolved by Pat Buck, who punched Cass before Cass was removed by authorities. Cass’ issues with mental health are well documented and following the WrestlePro incident, he stated he would be stepping away to get more help.

Cass would return to Twitter later on Monday, claiming the deleted tweet was just a work.

Fightful was able to confirm that it’s not a work for anyone but Cass.

Janela issued a statement on Cass “working,” sending out the following tweets.

The issues between Janela and Cass seemingly stem from the “fight’ Janela got into with Cass’ friend Enzo Amore in July following a Blink-182 concert. According to Janela, he ran into Enzo months after the incident and Enzo stated, “We got em. Let’s make some money.” You can view Janela’s recount of the “fight” and subsequent meeting with Enzo by clicking here.

Fightful will provide more details on the situation between Cass and Janela as they are known.
