Bianca Belair: Sasha Banks Elevates Everybody, She Definitely Elevated Me
Bianca Belair has nothing but praise for her WrestleMania 37 opponent.
Belair and Sasha Banks made history at WrestleMania 37, becoming the first Black women to main event WrestleMania and compete in a singles match for the Women’s Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Both men recognized the magnitude of the moment before locking up, taking a second to soak everything in. The match was critically acclaimed by fans, with some calling it their favorite WrestleMania main event ever and many putting it in the top five all-time.
Speaking to Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda, Belair praised Banks for lifting her up in the match and program.
“The amazing thing about Sasha is that she elevates anybody that she comes in contact with. So she definitely elevated me last night and I am forever grateful to her for that. But we’re still going to be fighting it out because I have something that she wants now,” said said.
Post-match, Belair celebrated with her family, including husband Montez Ford. Meanwhile, Banks was caught selling her injuries and smiling next to the barricade after the match, pleased with what just happened.
