Bianca Belair Comments On What It Meant To Her To Wrestle In Front Of Her Hometown Crowd
One of NXT's rising stars of the women's division, Bianca Belair, real name Bianca Blair, was able to wrestle in front of her hometown faithful at an NXT house show in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Yesterday afternoon, NXT stopped in Knoxville. The "Est" of NXT was featured on the Knoxville local news channel, where she shared her story and let Knoxville know that they are forever a part of who she is. Belair spoke with WATE.com (ABC) to let viewers in on her journey to NXT.
"I've been an athlete my whole life. I am used to competing and competing in front of an audience and a crowd. This is a bit different, I'm doing something they've never seen me do before. Every time I step in that ring, I want to show that I'm the best that stepped in that ring. I want to leave a lasting impression on every single person there."
Bianca Belair's mother and father, who were in attendance for the show, shared their thoughts on getting to watch their daughter perform live.
"It sounded good," said Leonard Blair, Bianca's father. "Hopefully, that'll get bigger. She's working hard and I think it's gonna come by pretty soon."
"I'm just so happy for her. Really happy," Belair's mother, Travanda Blair said.
