Betting Odds On Who Will Walk Out Of WrestleMania WWE And Universal Champion
We haven't even made it through the pre-Wrestlemania brand-specific pay-per-views yet, but that doesn't mean we can't place bets on who walks out of Camping World Stadium with the major championships on April 2nd.
Yes, according to the oddsmakers at SmartBets.com, the full odds for SmackDown's WWE Championship are as follows:
- Randy Orton (-175)
- Bray Wyatt (+137.50)
- John Cena (+250)
- AJ Styles (+350)
Randy Orton is the favorite here, as might be expected. As the Royal Rumble winner, he's the only competitor we know so far is for sure going to be in the Title match at Mania. The current WWE Champion, John Cena, isn't even favored to make it to WrestleMania with the title belt still around his waist.
And for the Universal Championship, the odds are :
- Brock Lesnar (-400)
- Goldberg (+150)
- Kevin Owens (+200)
- Finn Balor (+600).
So again, the current Universal Champion, Kevin Owens, isn't expected to take the strap into Orlando, much less walk out with it. Goldberg is facing Owens for the Title at FastLane on March 5th, and is favored to be victorious there. But Goldberg also has a date with Brock Lesnar for Wrestlemania, and it appears that SmartBets thinks Lesnar is the overwhelming favorite to win that match and become Universal Champion.
Of course, the odds (and WWE's plans) could always change.
It's a long way to Orlando from here.
