Memphis Manager Bert Prentice Passes Away
Fightful is sad to report the passing of Bert Prentice.
Prentice was active in the Memphis area as a manager and promoter throughout the 90s. He also wrestled a handful of matches in USWA, taking on the likes of Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lawler.
He is best known for managing Tully Blanchard.

I am so brokenhearted, there was not a nicer man in the business. He even set up for me to have a private meeting with Lance Russell and Dave Brown several years ago in Jackson Tennessee. Bert was absolutely the best and the kindest man. I’m so damn sad. He will be missed.

Prentice made a handful of appearances on NWA TNA television during their weekly pay-per-view days and hosting TNA Xplosion. He could also be seen on Sting: Moment of Truth.
