Becky Lynch, The Usos Among WWE Draft 2021 First Round Picks
Night two of the 2021 WWE Draft is underway.
Becky Lynch kicked off the October 4 episode of WWE Raw, announcing herself as the first overall pick on behalf of Raw. This would later be made official by Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce. Lynch is the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion and is set to defend her title at Crown Jewel on October 21. Should she manage to retain her belt, she will replace Charlotte Flair as Raw’s Women’s Champion. The Queen was drafted to SmackDown on night one of the draft.
With SmackDown’s first pick, The Usos were selected. With this, The Bloodline remains intact on the blue brand. The camera cut backstage and showed a relieved Paul Heyman, who was told by Reigns last week to ensure that his cousins stayed on Friday nights with him.
The final two picks of the first round saw Raw retain Bobby Lashley and SmackDown retain Sasha Banks.
