Becky Lynch Speaks On The Importance Of Self-Confidence & Trusting Yourself

For Becky Lynch, being The Man is a state of mind.

Becky Lynch recently participated espnW’s Women + Sports Summit and after her panel, spoke directly to espnW about the importance of trusting your instincts and desires and allowing them to take you as far as you can go in life.

“When we’re young, we spend so much time doubting ourselves, telling ourselves the story about why we’re not good enough, why we’re wrong, why somebody else is right,” she began. “Never have I uttered the words, ‘I wish I didn’t trust my gut.’ Never said that, and I don’t know anybody who has ever said that. We know what we’re meant to do. Trust yourself.”

The last twelve months of Becky’s career certainly prove that she practices what she preaches. This year alone, Becky has won the Royal Rumble, won the first-ever headlining match featuring women at WrestleMania, and also became the first woman to be featured on the cover of a WWE video game in 13 years.

This coming Monday on Raw, Becky will turn her attention to her match against one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kairi Sane.
