Becky Lynch Says She Would Love To Be Involved With NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin
Becky Lynch may be busy reigning over Raw’s women’s division as its champion, but she is interested in being involved in NXT UK in one way or another.
In an interview with the Irish Mirror, Lynch said she would love to find a way to figure into the NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin event, taking place in October. Lynch said she already made the request to do so, but didn’t say if she heard back from WWE about it.
“I would love to (be involved at NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin). The request was already put in… on my end anyway,” Lynch said.
The NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin show was originally supposed to take place on April 26, but due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19, it was delayed. The NXT UK brand will now air some of its greatest matches and moments in the upcoming weeks. Tapings scheduled for May 1 and May 2 at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, England have been canceled, but NXT UK still has tapings scheduled for July 24 and July 25 at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
Lynch isn’t the first person to have won major titles as part of the Raw brand with interest in NXT UK as former Universal Champion Finn Balor has been feuding with current NXT UK Champion WALTER.
