Becky Lynch Recalls Almost Being Let Go From WWE In 2014; Notes That She’s Been Fighting To Survive
Becky Lynch brings in her St. Patrick’s Day with an inspirational message.
“The Man” Becky Lynch has been praised by viewers of the WWE product on a high level dating back to the 2018 SummerSlam pay-per-view where she emptied out her frustrations on Charlotte Flair who Becky felt was holding her back from reaching the next level of her career. Fast forward to 2019 and Becky, Charlotte and Ronda Rousey are looking to main event WrestleMania 35 with the RAW Women’s Championship on the line. Becky Lynch took to Twitter recently to reflect on her journey in wrestling and she shared a photo from a match that she had with Summer Rae in NXT in June of 2014. Becky noted in the caption of the photo that WWE was going to let her go a few weeks before the match and added that she’s been fighting to survive in the company since day one.
A couple of weeks before this they were going to let me go. I’ve been fighting to survive this place since before day one. I’ll never be above what I had to do to stay alive. #happypaddysday pic.twitter.com/bPbcUihhX9
