Becky Lynch: “I’m The Face Of WWE Whether Anybody Wants To Admit It Or Not”
Becks making it clear!
The current SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been on a roll since capturing the title from Charlotte Flair at WWE’s ‘Hell In A Cell’ pay-per-view this past September. Becky is keeping her stock above the roof via social media where she rips whomever has something to say about her.
The time for talking soon comes to an end and it will be time to leave it all in the ring come next weekend at WWE TLC where Becky, Charlotte Flair and Asuka compete in a Triple-Threat TLC match with the SmackDown Women’s Championship hanging in the balance.
Becky has been in many of headlines for months and one of those headlines had to do with Becky chatting with former UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor on social media and Becky hinting a Conor showing up to WrestleMania in April. Becky discussed the comparisons between herself and McGregor during a sit-down interview with Sky Sports prior to Survivor Series. Becky stated that both she and Conor are at the top of their respective sports and feels that the comparisons between them are good.
“I think it’s because we’re from Ireland and we run our mouths a lot, but we also back it up right? So that goes part and part, and I think also it’s just something with the Irish right? We have a little bit of gift of the gab. I got a gift and I got a gab.” She continued, “Yeah he is a star, and he’s the face of the fight game and I’m the face of WWE whether anybody wants to admit it or not, I am the face of WWE. I am the most talked about in the industry. He’s the most talked about in his industry. So I guess that’s a good comparison.”
“The Irish Lasskicker” grilled Charlotte Flair on Twitter yesterday by bringing up Charlotte missing an entire month of SmackDown television tapings because of ruptured breast implants. To view that exchange, check out Fightful’s published article on the topic.
