Becky Lynch Comments On What She’s Learned From Finn Balor And Paul Tracy, Talks Her Most Emotional Match, More
Becky Lynch’s Q&A on Reddit.
The current SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch participated in a Q&A session on Reddit using WWE’s official Reddit account. Lynch answered a plethora of questions ahead of her SmackDown Women’s Title defense against Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match at WWE ‘Evolution’. One of the questions presented to Becky was what has she learned from Finn Balor and Paul Tracy who are two men that played in pivotal role in training “The Irish Lasskicker”.
“They taught me to always hold myself to the highest standard, regardless of circumstances.” Becky noted.
Becky also had the opportunity to learn from WWE Hall Of Famer Dusty Rhodes when he was a staple in NXT at the time that Becky was there. Becky shared what she was able to pick up from “The Dream”.
“Dusty always believed in me and encouraged me no matter how wacky my ideas were, and my ideas were wacky. His last words to me were ‘Shut up, Becky’ and I couldn’t ask for more perfect last words.” Becky shared.
Since getting back the SmackDown Women’s Title at the ‘Hell In A Cell’ PPV, Becky has been more vocal than ever when explaining how confident she is and she noted that the confidence needed to be unleashed following the Triple-Threat match at SummerSlam involving herself, Carmella and Charlotte Flair.
“It was SummerSlam — all the anger and frustration just peaked after the bell and I reached as far down into myself as I could to slap Charlotte, and then came the cheers. I was ready to go where I was going without the audience, but I was ecstatic they wanted to come with me.” Lynch explained.
