Becky Lynch Claims That After WrestleMania 35, Vince McMahon Agreed That She Is ‘The Man’

Becky shares a special moment that she had backstage after WrestleMania.

The current RAW and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is set to defend both of her titles this coming Sunday at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Lynch will defend her RAW Title against Lacey Evans and her SmackDown Title against Charlotte Flair but before those bouts, Becky is set to share the ring with her two opponents for a double contract signing on tonight’s edition of RAW that will be taped at The O2 In London, England.

While on the WWE European tour, Lynch has spoken with a number of international media outlets and she recently chatted with Sun Sport and told the story of how she talked with Vince McMahon following WrestleMania 35 and he agreed that she is The Man.

“We had a moment after WrestleMania where I said to him, ‘I think I’m ‘The Man’ now, wouldn’t you say Vince? And he said, ‘Yep,’ and that was it.” Becky recalled. “I think he used to call himself ‘The Man’, and I said, ‘No, I’m ‘The Man.’”

During the interview, Becky Lynch also spoke about the growth of women’s wrestling in WWE. On top of the double contract signing, several more matches and segments were announced for today’s RAW and to view the updated lineup for the show, click here.
