Bayley describes how winning the Royal Rumble was a victory for Damage CTRL as a whole.
Bayley has been the face of Damage CTRL since the group debuted at WWE SummerSlam 2022. The stable has won multiple titles, and they continue to reign supreme. IYO SKY currently holds the WWE Women’s Championship, and Asuka and Kairi Sane have captured the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Bayley brought another accolade to the group when she won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Bayley was asked to recall celebrating her Royal Rumble win with Damage CTRL.
“It was emotional. I had to kind of make my way through all the girls in the back, crying about losing the match, so I kind of had you swim through all those losers to make my way to the back, where IYO was waiting and Dakota, it’s just very special, seeing where we came from and just seeing their genuine happiness and them being proud. This is as much their moment as it was mine. I am Damage CTRL, Bayley is Damage CTRL, and this just means the next step to our grander picture,” Bayley said.
During the interview, Bayley said there was no decision to be made about her WrestleMania opponent. Check out her comments here.
