Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, has been sidelined with an ankle injury since NJPW Resurgence in May. On November 29, Mone announced that she was training again.
Bayley, her friend and former tag team partner, responded to the news on December 1. In a post on Twitter/X, she wrote, “The greatest is yet to come.”

In June, Bayley said she begged Mone to come back to WWE, and she made it clear that she wants them to have another match.
Mone previously posted a throwback picture of her match with Bayley and said they should do it again someday.
