Bayley Feels Reconnected With The Fans And That Her Hard Work Has Paid Off
Bayley chats it up with Nattie after Money In The Bank.
After two years of not holding singles gold in WWE, Bayley won the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view and later that night she cashed in her contract on Charlotte Flair and became SmackDown Live Women’s Champion. Bayley has now been champion going on two weeks and she feels that she is reconnected with the fans and that everything is happening the way that is supposed to. She was interviewed by Natalya for Nattie’s blog for the Calgary Sun and expressed those aforementioned thoughts.
“I’ve always been one to make the most of any opportunity I have received in WWE. Cashing in that briefcase was the first time I took a chance and created an opportunity for myself and it felt so good. I felt reconnected with the fans and with myself. I felt like I am right where I need to be and all of my hard work paid off.” She said.
Bayley was the second woman in WWE to become a Grand Slam Champion with the NXT, RAW, SmackDown Live and Women’s Tag Team Titles and she hopes that inspires the roster to chase their dreams.
“I hope that by becoming the first ever women’s grand slam champion, it not only pushes our entire roster to be better but inspires our fans around the world to chase whatever dreams it is that they have. No dream is too big to conquer.” Bayley said.
