Here is your fight size update for WWE Friday Night SmackDown and AEW Rampage on Friday, December 1, 2023.

WWE SmackDown

– Bianca Belair faced Kairi Sane. Charlotte Flair interfered, and she got ejected from ringside. The referee then decided to eject everyone from ringside. Bayley interfered, but Belair still emerged victorious.

– Butch faced Bobby Lashley. They battled back and forth, and Lashley scored the win with a Spear.

– WWE United States Champion Logan Paul returned to WWE SmackDown. He announced that a tournament will crown his next challenger. 

– Kevin Owens interrupted Logan Paul. Owens vowed to end Paul’s title reign. Paul said he would only need six seconds to “KO” him. Owens said WWE was a different world. Tensions rose, and Grayson Waller and Austin Theory interrupted. Owens punched Theory and stared down Paul. 

– Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis recruited Randy Orton to their respective brands.

– Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso attacked Randy Orton, and LA Knight made the save. They fought the duo off, and Orton signed a WWE SmackDown contract. He told Paul Heyman to tell Roman Reigns that “Daddy’s back.” Orton then hit Nick Aldis with an RKO.

– Bianca Belair came to the ring and discussed her team’s win at WWE Survivor Series. Damage CTRL, minus Bayley, interrupted. Dakota Kai said she would have to go through all of Damage CTRL to get another title shot. Charlotte Flair and Shotzi interrupted. The two teams brawled, and Belair’s side stood tall.

– Bayley had a tense confrontation with her Damage CTRL stablemates. Later in the show, Damage CTRL told Bayley to stay in the back ahead of Kairi Sane’s match with Bianca Belair.

– Santos Escobar faced his former stablemate Joaquin Wilde. Escobar picked up the win, and Dragon Lee saved Wilde from a post-match attack. He took the fight to Escobar and sent him running.

– WWE Tribute to the Troops 2023 will air on December 8.

– Kevin Owens clashed with Grayson Waller. Waller viciously targeted Owens’ hand, but the former Universal Champion rolled him up for the win. 

– Carmelo Hayes teased his interest in challenging for the WWE United States Championship.

– CM Punk was announced for the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Kevin Owens prepared to get an X-ray of his hand.

Dragon Lee looked forward to his rematch with Santos Escobar in a SmackDown Exclusive.

– Adam Pearce commented on Randy Orton’s decision.

Cody Rhodes will speak on the December 4 episode of WWE Raw.

AEW Rampage

– Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs scored a dominant win against Jah-C, Kit Sackett & Renny D.

Danhausen returned to the ring, as he teamed up with Trent Beretta, HOOK, and Orange Cassidy to defeat Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker. Wheeler Yuta joined the commentary team.

– Sting and Ric Flair took a trip down memory lane, and Flair discussed being by Sting’s ride on the final chapter of his career.

– Don Callis made it clear that the Don Callis Family would continue to dominate, and they were targeting Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.

– Anna Jay expressed her frustration with Angelo Parker.

– Skye Blue, Kris Statlander, and Hikaru Shida defeated Anna Jay, Saraya, and Ruby Soho. 

– Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander, and El Hijo del Vikingo defeated Brian Cage and The WorkHorsemen  (Anthony Henry and JD Drake).
