Batista Offers $20,000 Reward In Case Of Manatee With “TRUMP” Etched Into Its Back
The Animal is looking out for The Mammal.
A manatee was discovered on Sunday, January 10, 2021, in Florida’s Homosassa River with the word “TRUMP” scratched into algae on its back. The Center For Biological Diversity issued a press release, offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction of the person responsible.
“Manatees aren’t billboards, and people shouldn’t be messing with these sensitive and imperiled animals for any reason,” said Jaclyn Lopez, Florida director at the Center. “However this political graffiti was put on this manatee, it’s a crime to interfere with these creatures, which are protected under multiple federal laws.”
Dave Bautista announced an additional reward on Twitter, saying the following:
If there’s not already a reward for the arrest and conviction of the low life scummy MAGATs that did this I’ll throw in $20,000. And I promise there will be bonuses to that reward! https://t.co/CGa2EIhrEQ
