Baron Corbin Speaks On Possibly Becoming The First Two-Time Winner Of The ‘Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal’

"The Lone Wolf" is looking to have his hand raised at WrestleMania once again.

At WrestleMania 32 two years ago "The Lone Wolf" Baron Corbin made his main roster debut and won the 'Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal'. Fast forward two years later and a 'Money In The Bank' victory and a WWE United States Title reign has been added to Corbin's resume'. Today at WrestleMania 34 Corbin will be in his second 'Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal' and while speaking with IGN Corbin stated that he has his sights set on winning this year's battle royal as well.

"Everybody's a target in a sense and if you turn your back for a second, it's over," Corbin said. "That's what happened to me in the Royal Rumble. I was busy destroying everybody and Finn Balor snuck up behind me. You have to keep your head on a swivel and remain focused on everyone. Mojo's got a good chance, he's a hell of an athlete. This one's mine though. WrestleMania's sort of the end off the year for us, but it's also a beginning because we don't take any time off. So how do I want day one after WrestleMania to be? Do I want to be just a guy in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal or do I want people to say 'Hey, this guy closed out his year strong. What he going to do this year?' So I want that type of conversation to happen and I want to see my name on two trophies. When I won it the first time, I was the first NXT Superstar to win at 'Mania and now I want to be the first two-time winner."

Along with wanting to be the World Champion in WWE Corbin also has other goals and aspirations that he wants to achieve; one of which is being the leader of a faction.

"But if somewhere down the line I could get to be the leader of some faction – if there are a bunch of miscreants with a lot of tattoos who need guidance and want to run around and cause mayhem, that could be cool. But I don't think I'll ever really want a true partner, but I wouldn't mind directing a bunch of idiots to run around and destroy things. Until then, I like being in control of my own destiny."
