Atsushi Onita Appearing At Joey Janela’s ‘Spring Break 3’ On April 5th

Joey Janela’s ‘Spring Break 3’ has a big name slated to appear.

The former WWN Champion Joey Janela hosts a number of joint-shows with Game Changer Wrestling. The two parties join forces to present shows during World Wrestling Entertainment’s big PPV weekends as exampled by Joey Janela’s ‘Lost In New York’ during SummerSlam weekend and Janela’s ‘Spring Break’ that occurs on WrestleMania weekend.

The third edition of ‘Spring Break’ has officially been announced for April 5th in Jersey City, New Jersey at the ‘White Eagle Hall’. There is no word yet on if Joey Janela will be a part of the show due to the  sidelining injury that he suffered at Game Changer Wrestling’s ‘Live Fast Die Young’ show last month which resulted in him tearing his PCL and MCL, spraining his FCL and ACL, developing an impaction fracture in his knee, a mild bone contusion, a small knee infusion and a partial tear of his patellofemoral ligament. Janela underwent surgery yesterday and there is no timetable on his return but his ‘Spring Break’ show will go on. Janela sent out a promo video and in that promo video was Japanese deathmatch innovator and former NWA International Junior Heavyweight Champion Atsushi Onita and it was confirmed that the 61-year old Onita will be appearing at ‘Spring Break 3’ on April 5th.

Onita’s last match was a ‘Barbed Wire Board & Street Fight Tornado Bunkhouse Deathmatch’ on October 31st of 2017. There is no current word on if Onita will be competing on the show or just making an appearance seeing as how that aforementioned deathmatch was billed as his retirement match but as more details emerge, we will update this article or publish a new one.
