ROH Women’s World Champion Athena appeared in a video at the STARDOM show on December 24 and announced that she would be making her debut at the STARDOM event on January 3. Athena said that she would be teaming up with Thekla at the show.
Athena did not name their opponents in the video.

Athena is set to compete in the International Women’s Cup at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The winner of the match will earn a title shot in the promotion of their choosing.
At ROH Final Battle, Athena successfully defended the ROH Women’s World Championship against Billie Starkz.
