Asuka Wants To Wrestle Triple H, Bayley Reflects On Hell In A Cell | Fight Size Update
Here is your fight size update for Friday, May 14th, 2021
– Speaking with ET Canada’s Shakiel Mahjouri, Asuka named Ric Flair, Triple H, and Ronda Rousey as her dream opponents.
“I want to wrestle with Triple H and Ric Flair. I fought many great WWE superstars. Oh, [I want to wrestle] Ronda Rousey. One day!”
– Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Bayley reflected on her Hell in a Cell match with Sasha Banks and how much it meant to them.
“We love that match, and it’s something I’m really proud of,” Bayley says. “That was Sasha’s third Cell match and my first, so I really wanted it to be different than her first two. I just wish it were in front of people. That would have been a game-changer, but I’m so grateful we had that match.”
– Triple H reflected recently on the special moment in his career where he got to compete at WWE’s final event in the Boston Garden back in 1995.
Was signed w/ WWE but still on a non compete from WCW. Called JJ Dillion & begged him & Vince to let me work this card & flew myself in. Brought my dad, 1st time he ever saw me wrestle for a big promotion live & at Boston Garden where he watched as a kid. Night I’ll never forget! https://t.co/PWwqk9MQdw

– Speaking with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN, Cesaro reflected on his previous working relationship with Paul Heyman ahead of his WWE Universal Championship opportunity against Roman Reigns.
“I’ll say this much. I learned a whole lot from Paul, and I still do. But I agree 100 percent with Paul’s assessment because that’s 100 percent right. Paul used that opportunity to talk about Brock Lesnar and I was second fiddle at that point. He even said that in the Talking Smack interview that he did. He said that he knows that alliance was more beneficial to him than it was for me. But you know what, despite that, I’m here today, challenging Roman Reigns on Sunday. I’m here despite not being picked, not being ‘The Guy’ chosen by powers that be. I’m still here because of what I bring to the table. I feel that speaks for itself.”

– Speaking on a recent episode of the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Kurt Angle reflected on his TNA Wrestling debut with Samoa Joe:
I told Joe I was going to give him a real headbutt and he said, ‘Bring it on’. I brought it on and I cut him open. It was the hard way. I think he was a little pissed off. He got up, partly because of his character, he was behind me, stalking me, and he had this pissed off look on his face. But you know, if you know Joe, you know he was really pissed at that too. It was a great moment. Joe and I had incredible chemistry. We had the highest PPV buy rate in TNA history with that match. I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to draw that many PPV buys. It definitely was an incredible moment.
– Today, WWE stock closed at $53.69 per share.
– Speaking with Slash Film, Batista expressed his great excitement for his role in the Dune film.
[The] world that he’s created is so far over my head. It’s so beautiful and different, and a lot of times dark and strange. But it’s something I never could have imagined. I just don’t have that mind. When I think about things, and when I think about directing, it’s all very contained, based on simple stories, a lot of times very simple and inspiring stories. And for someone to see something and create a world this big, a galaxy, a universe this big, it’s something that doesn’t comprehend, doesn’t compute in my brain. But it’s weird that he can do both. [Denis Villeneuve] can create these huge epic worlds and scenes, but at the same time just focus on the most simple things about a performance. He’s just a special guy, he’s got a special focus, and man, he’s a brilliant storyteller. Dune is special. I think people are going to be blown away. It’s going to be one of the most beautiful films that people have ever seen. But I think that people who are just diehard fans of Dune, of the novels, they’re going to be blown away. Because they don’t have anything, really, to reference in relation to the books. Now they will. They’ll have that visual reference. He took these characters, he took this world, and he’s taken them off the page and put them on screen. It’s epic.
