Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis Not Medically Cleared To Compete On 205 Live
Bad news for the team of Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Desmond Troy.
On Wednesday’s NXT, Ashante “Thee” Adonis battled Karrion Kross in singles competition. The bout didn’t go so well for Adonis as he was quickly dispatched of by Kross.
Kross tossed Adonis around with a series of suplexes before finishing off Adonis with a forearm to the back of the head. Adonis’ tag team partner Desmond Troy didn’t do much better after the bout as he was locked in the straight jacket by Kross.

Later in the night, it was confirmed that Adonis would not be medically cleared to compete on Friday’s 205 Live. Adonis and Troy were scheduled to face Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari in the first-round of the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Further information on the status of Adonis was not given as McKenzie Mitchell was interrupted by Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter, who were fresh off their victory in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
