Arn Anderson Unable To Detail His WWE Departure, Says He Doesn’t Want To Be Where He’s Not Wanted

Arn Anderson provides all the details he can provide about his WWE departure.

WWE made a big change on Feb. 21 when they released longtime backstage producer/agent Arn Anderson from the company. Anderson had been with WWE since the death of WCW and is one of the most respected names in the wrestling business. It was reported that Anderson was let go because he allowed Alicia Fox to wrestle while intoxicated at a live event

Appearing at Starrcast II, many expected to get Arn’s side of the story on his WWE release. Unfortunately, Arn was able to detail his departure from the company due to a non-disclosure agreement signed following his release.

“I wish I could talk about it but the fact is, I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement when I left. You’re going to hear a lot of stuff online but don’t believe everything you hear. The people that know me, know the situation. I’m not [upset about leaving]. It was a great, stable environment for my family and myself but it’s a difficult place to work. The pressure is unbelievable. The hours are unbelievable. The travel is something. I don’t want to be anywhere where I’m not wanted. After 37 years, I think I deserve more than that.”

It’s unknown if Arn will join another promotion in a backstage role, but The Enforcer did announce that he will be joining Conrad Thompson for a new podcasting venture titled “Arn.” The podcast is set to debut at some point this year.
