AEW star Anthony Bowens answered some questions on Twitter/X, and one fan asked him who he wanted to wrestle this year. Bowens replied by stating that The Acclaimed has unfinished business with FTR and the Young Bucks, among others.

Bowens then responded by noting that FTR calls themselves the best tag team in the world, but Thre Acclaimed is the best tag team alive.

The Acclaimed previously beat FTR on the December 7, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite. Long before that, The Young Bucks defeated The Acclaimed on the December 23, 2020, episode of AEW Dynamite.
Bowens, Caster, and Billy Gunn currently hold the AEW World Trios Championship. In recent weeks, Bowens, Gunn, and Caster have formed the Bang Bang Scissor Gang with Jay White and The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn). Meanwhile, FTR has been locked in a heated feud with the House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews).
Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on January 31.
