Another Name Qualifies For X-Division Title Match At Bound For Glory 2021
Steve Maclin is headed to Las Vegas!
On the October 7 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, the second of three triple threat matches was held to determine the contestants of the X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory 2021. The belt is currently vacant as Josh Alexander relinquished the title when he exercised Option C and challenged Christian Cage for the World Championship.
Last week, Trey Miguel earned the first spot, defeating Alex Zayne and Laredo Kid. Tonight, Black Taurus, Petey Williams and Steve Maclin faced off for the second spot. Williams seemed to have the bout won after hitting a Canadian Destroyer on Taurus, but Maclin capitalized, attacking Petey from behind and hitting his finisher for the pin and win.
