Tony Khan announced that Anna Jay would face Penelope Ford on the December 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jay has expressed her interest in the AEW TBS Championship, and she will aim to gain momentum with a win.

Jay and Ford previously feuded in 2021. Jay and Tay Melo beat Ford and The Bunny in a Street Fight at AEW Rampage: New Year’s Smash 2021.
