Angelina Love Doesn’t Think Billy Gunn Is Actually Retired, Believes He’ll Get A Proper Goodbye
Angelina Love thinks Billy Gunn will get a proper sendoff.
On a July episode of AEW Collision, Billy Gunn left his boots in the ring after losing to the House Of Black alongside The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens).
Gunn hasn’t been spotted on AEW television since, leaving many fans to believe that he is now retired from the in-ring aspect of pro wrestling.
During a recent Captain’s Corner signing, Angelina Love noted that she doesn’t think Gunn is actually retired just yet.
“I don’t think [Billy Gunn is actually retired]. He’s going to have a real retirement and a real retirement match where we know it’s coming and he can be celebrated.”
Love then went on to reflect on working with Billy Gunn in the past.
“We were just like, ‘What is going on in life? This man was in DX and now he’s in our little girl group in TNA.’ So crazy, and he loved it, too. He embraced it and we still are all very close to this day.”
Love currently actively wrestles on the independent scene and in the NWA.
