Angel Garza Gives His Support To Mexican Wrestlers Following March In Mexico City

Angel Garza supports his Lucha Libre brethren.

Recently, Mexican Luchadores marched in Mexico City, Mexico held a protest march in Mexico City asking for the city government to ease restrictions on Lucha Libre and allow shows with up to 30% capacity.

WWE Superstar Angel Garza shared on social media a statement supporting his Lucha brethren telling his fellow Luchadores he hopes they’ll be able to put food on their tables and to know their worth.

I hope that with the march of the wrestlers in Mexico the reopening of events will be achieved, and I also hope that wrestlers will NO longer give away their work and begin to receive what they deserve so that this really is a business! And they can provide for their home. Purge of promotors “Lend me a hand” believe me if they have talent, promoters will pay for your work.

WASTE OF THE WRESTLER’S SALARY NO MORE. (Turning your back on your colleagues, speaking to the promoter saying “take me, I’ll charge you less”) if they didn’t talk to you from the beginning, DON’T BE A SECOND CHOICE and DON’T sell yourself short.

I am with you, my colleagues.

You can see results from different Lucha promotions and groups from all corners of the pro wrestling globe in Fightful’s results section.

Angel Garza’s, former tag team partner Andrade, recently sought his own freedom after asking for his own release from WWE. His release was granted on March 21. Learn more here.
