Ahead of his WWE return next week, Andrade

Andrade has been out of action for weeks as a result of him violating the WWE Wellness Policy and was suspended 30 days as a result. He is scheduled to return to the ring at WWE Super ShowDown on February 27, where he will compete in the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match.

While not addressing the suspension directly, Andrade did ask his fans to support him as the week began and his WWE return looms closer.

When it was announced that Andrade, the current United States Champion, would be suspended, he went to social media and also didn’t directly address the suspension, but wrote, “Never quit because things got tough, remember where you come from and where you are going.”

Andrade wrestled on the Royal Rumble Kick-Off show, successfully defending his United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo. The following night on Raw, Andrade battled Carrillo in a rematch. Carrillo won by disqualification when Zelina Vega interfered. Following the bout, Carrillo laid out Andrade with a hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete. The angle was done as a way to write Andrade off television for the next 30 days.
