Andrade El Idolo: “Fu… WWE !!!!!”

Andrade El Idolo isn’t afraid to let his feelings be known.

On Friday, October 22, Andrade faced PAC on AEW Rampage for the second time since he joined the promotion back in June 2021. Andrade won the first match thanks to interference from Chavo Guerrero, something he did not appreciate, releasing Chavo from his entourage as a result.

PAC got the better of Andrade this evening, winning the match by countering a Hammerlock-DDT with a roll-up pin for the win. After the bell, the lights went out and Malakai Black appeared, spitting green mist in PAC’s face. Before he and Andrade could beat up ‘The Bastard,’ however, Cody Rhodes came out and made the save.

Cody and Malakai Black will have their third match tomorrow night on Dynamite.

Once the show went off the air, Andrade took to Twitter, sharing the following message:

Andrade worked for WWE from November 2015 until his release on March 21. He hadn’t been used on WWE television since October 2020 when he and Zelina Vega were taken out by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss. He reportedly underwent a minor elective procedure that kept him out for a month.

In an interview with Lucha Libre Online, Andrade said he was cleared in November, but Vince McMahon and Triple H had no idea, even when he asked for his release in early March.

Andrade is currently engaged to be married to SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
