Andrade Confirms No 90-Day Non-Compete Clause Following WWE Release

Andrade won’t have to wait 90 days to make his next wrestling appearance.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported on March 22 that Andrade did not have a 90-day non-compete clause after he was officially released by WWE on March 21.

On Friday morning, Andrade confirmed the news, tweeting, “Start my new goals and we are in talks, no waiting for 90 days.”

90-day non-compete clauses are typically standard when it comes to WWE releases, but Andrade is free to show up where he would like without having to wait.

Andrade was signed by WWE in 2015 and found success in NXT, winning the NXT Championship in 2017 and putting on a highly acclaimed match against Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. He was called up to the main roster in 2018 and won the United States Title in 2019. He had been off WWE television since October 2020.
