Alundra Blayze (Madusa): Trish Stratus Set The Women Back After All The Work I Did

Alundra Blayze has a message for Trish Stratus from one Hall of Famer to another.

Alundra Blayze, also known as Madusa, was one of the definitive women’s wrestlers of her era. Less than half a decade after she trashed the WWE Women’s Championship on WCW Nitro, Trish Stratus would make her WWE debut and go on to define women’s wrestling for the next generation.

Currently, Trish stratus has returned to WWE and is taking the modern WWE women to task for not appreciating her contributions to the industry. On Twitter, Madusa sent a message to Trish Stratus. Seemingly taking a page out of Stratus’ book, Madusa took exception to the changes that came along with Trish Stratus’ era women’s wrestling, saying Trish turned the women into a sideshow.

Trish has set the women back and turned them into a sideshow after all the work I did to get the women respected and legitimize them as the superstars that they are.

Do you really think I literally threw that title in the trash without a plan of longevity and meaning?

Trish brought in the blueprint that WWE used for decades that had to be UNDONE by the women who were inspired by men and the women that came before her. Trish made room for the Bella Twins and others, but I built a foundation for the 4 Horsewomen.

Focusing on today’s generation, Becky Lynch will be on the May 15 episode of Raw to address her issues with the Attitude Era staple.
