All Elite Wrestling Countdown On TNT Averages 631,000 Viewers
The countdown to AEW Dynamite has begun with a preview show the day before its official premiere episode on TNT.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the one-hour All Elite Wrestling Countdown special that aired on TNT on October 1 at 8 p.m. ET averaged 631,000 viewers. The show also drew a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 26th on cable for the day. The top competition the AEW special had to face was the MLB Wild Card game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals, which averaged 4.732 million viewers and a 1.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which led all cable programming for the day.
About a month ago, there was another AEW Countdown show that aired on TNT, but that episode only managed to draw 390,000 viewers.
The first episode of AEW Dynamite will feature the likes of AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Cody, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Nyla Rose and more. Here’s a look at what’s in store for the premiere of AEW Dynamite:
