Alexa Bliss Says She Wants To Make The Most Out Of Every Opportunity

Alexa Bliss was intimidated by the Elimination Chamber but that did not stop her from seizing an opportunity.

The first woman to win an Elimination Chamber match was Alexa Bliss when she defended her Raw Women's Championship in the structure against five other wrestlers. In an interview with ESPN, Bliss talked about making history as part of the "women's revolution" in WWE and Bliss also said there is pressure to have great matches.

"With this women's revolution that's going on right now, with every opportunity that we get, we have to make the most of it, we have to deliver and we have to keep the revolution going. So we knew with this first women's Elimination Chamber match in history, we had to go out there and kill it and have the most fun that we can, and make history doing it," said Bliss.

On Sunday, Bliss hit her finisher the Twisted Bliss off a pod in the Elimination Chamber. She said the move and the structure were both daunting.

"I was quite terrified. I'm not going to lie. I've done the 'Twisted Bliss' off of Braun Strowman's shoulders before, but that's not nothing to be on top of an Elimination Chamber pod. There are big challenges with being in a match like this. You're inside of this chamber that's intimidating to begin with. There's nothing appealing about the Elimination Chamber. When I first walked into it, I was terrified. You start out the match in these pods, and you're just watching everyone go at it, waiting for your time," said Bliss.

After the match, Bliss started to say how inspired she was by her victory and how it showed her anything is possible but she quickly changed her tone to berate the crowd. However, Bliss said she appreciated the "you deserve it" chants from the live audience.

Fightful Wrestling had live coverage and a recapping podcast for WWE Elimination Chamber.
