Alexa Bliss Reflects On The Journey She Has Had Thus Far In WWE – Talks Title Wins, More

“Little Miss Bliss” has had been at the top many times.

The five-foot tall diminutive dynamo Alexa Bliss was not the center of attention when she first started in WWE. She was once looked at as a bubbly-cheerleader type of character and then was paired with Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake and after never having a TakeOver match or winning the NXT Women’s Title, she was drafted to SmackDown Live in 2016 and from that point forward it was nothing but success for Bliss. She went on to capture the SmackDown Women’s Title twice and when she was moved to RAW she became a three-time Women’s Champion.

Right now Bliss is rehabbing from an injury but she still appears on WWE programming in a non-physical role. One of the things that fans of Alexa enjoy about her is the creativity she puts into her ring gear and WWE even put together a list of Alexa’s top cosplay costumes.

SyFy Wire spoke with Alexa about cosplay ideas but the two parties also discussed how it feels to be a part of the women’s evolution in WWE. Alexa detailed her journey from being an afterthought to a multi-time champion in the company.

“Yeah, it’s amazing. It’s awesome to see, especially with how far women have come. I remember even when I first started with WWE only five years ago, there wasn’t a lot to be expected from us and to see how far our women have come just in five years, even just from when I started. We’ve had these matches that would’ve never been expected from our women five, ten years ago, and now we’re doing them often, dominating them, and now we have our own pay-per-view, and I feel it’s something that the company behind us, the WWE Universe, wanted to see our women succeed, and that just shows that it’s not even just the shift of WWE, it’s just the shift in the world.” Bliss stated. “That people value women so much higher now in any section, any sport industry. We have women from diverse backgrounds being a part of this evolution. It’s so cool to see everyone come together for the love of what we do and to be able to perform together and keep this evolution going. I’m excited to see what the roster’s gonna look like in another year, five years, ten years from now.”
