Alexa Bliss Not Medically Cleared To Compete At Money In The Bank; Conflicting Reports On Injury
Alexa Bliss won’t be competing at Money in the Bank.
WWE announced that Alexa Bliss has not been medically cleared to compete on Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank. Bliss was scheduled to take part in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. A replacement for Bliss will be announced shortly. Details on her injury were not provided.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that while the injury is unspecified at this point, it is not considered to be serious. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Bliss has been out of the ring due to a concussion.
Alexa Bliss is not medically cleared to compete at WWE Money in the Bank this Sunday, and has been removed from the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. A suitable replacement for Alexa will be announced.
Bliss last wrestled on Apr. 29, losing to Naomi on Monday Night Raw. She was part of the WWE European Tour but did not wrestle during the live events. She was scheduled to compete this past Monday on Raw in a fatal four-way match but was written out of the contest due to lost luggage. Nikki Cross took her place, defeating Natalya, Dana Brooke, and Naomi in the bout.
The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion was out of action from October 2018 to January 2019 due to concussion-related issues.
