Alexa Bliss Names Who She Would Like To Cash In On If She Wins Money In The Bank This Year
Alexa Bliss wants to win Money in the Bank for the second time in her career and she has already stated which Championship she would challenge for should she win.
Alexa Bliss has captured every main roster WWE accolade possible with the exception of a Royal Rumble victory. In 2018, she successfully won Money in the Bank and cashed in her briefcase later that evening to defeat Nia Jax for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. On that evening, she cost Ronda Rousey a chance to become WWE Raw Women’s Champion. Rousey is currently the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and Alexa Bliss has already stated that if she wins money in the bank this year, she will not be going after Ronda Rousey.
Speaking to WWE Germany, Alexa Bliss has revealed that she would much rather challenge Bianca Belair or Rhea Ripley. First, because she is loyal to Monday Night Raw. Second, she says she has not yet had an extended program with either of those women.
“100%. If I am able to be one of the people that’s in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, I would love to [win] because obviously, it worked out very well my first time around,” Alexa said. “The last time I was in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match, I did not win but this time, I’m hoping to be able to come up with some new tactics, if I’m in the match, and hopefully climb a ladder and get that briefcase before anyone else.
“[I would say that I would rather cash in on] Bianca and Rhea,” she added. “Here’s why, I’ve faced Ronda before, and I’ve never really faced Bianca or Rhea in an extended amount of time. The only time that I’ve really faced Bianca was in the Royal Rumble, we were the first two entrants and I got to have a match with her. Rhea Ripley, the first time I was even in the ring with Rhea was Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia and I think they are both — I mean, all three women are stars, for sure. But, I would love to have the opportunity to face Bianca or Rhea because I’ve already faced Ronda so many times and that was a lot of fun, but I think, you know, the Raw brand is where I am focused and those are the number one contenders.”
So far, there are no Money in the Bank participants named on the Monday Night Raw side. However, Lacey Evans and Xia Li will be in the first Money in the Bank qualifying match on the June 10 episode of SmackDown. Learn more here.
Bianca and Rhea Ripley are two women who are highly regarded as top names in WWE. Recently, Charlotte Flair said that aside from Ronda Rousey, Bianca and Ripley are the main opponents she wants to face on the current WWE roster. Learn more here.
