Alex Zayne Added To Ultimate X Match At IMPACT Slammiversary 2022
The field for Ultimate X is set.
During the June 9 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, it was announced that Alex Zayne would be competing in Ultimate X at Slammiversary on June 19. The match will see Ace Austin defend the X Division Title against Zayne, Jack Evans, Kenny King, Mike Bailey, and Trey Miguel.
At NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 29 Finals, Ace Austin officially joined Bullet Club, aligning with the group following a six-man tag that saw El Phantasmo, Chase Owens, & Bad Luck Fale pick up a victory over the United Empire trio of Aaron Henare, Great-O-Khan, and Jeff Cobb. Backstage after the match, Austin turned on his friend Alex Zayne, leading an attack after Zayne questioned his decision.
