IMPACT World Title bout is official.
In a new social media video, IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley issued a challenge to Hiroshi Tanahashi for IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 on August 20.
Shelley noted that he looked up to Tanahashi for years because he’s the Ace, but that Shelley is the Joker. He said Tanahashi could challenge for the IMPACT World Title, and Shelley would show him why he’s the best in the world.
The bout was made official on the July 27 episode of IMPACT.
