Alex Kane Wins MLW World Title At MLW Never Say Never, Don King Revealed As Backer Of Bomaye
Alex Kane wins gold.
Alex Kane won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at MLW Never Say Never defeating Alex Hammerstone in the main event.
The finish saw Kane lock Hammerstone in a rear naked choke, forcing Hammerstone to tap out.
Kane celebrated with members of the Bomaye Fight Club in the ring following his victory. Kane addressed the crowd after the bout, saying the fans watched him grow and his rise happened organically. Kane said he might have to hit up Don King and get the colors on the title changed, calling it the Bomaye Belt.
Earlier in the night it was revealed that Don King was the backer of Bomaye Fight Club.

This marks Kane’s first reign as MLW World Heavyweight Champion. Hammerstone held the title for 645 days, winning the title from Jacob Fatu at MLW Fightland 2021. He made 16 successful title defenses during his reign.
