Alex Kane Talks Losing MLW World Heavyweight Title, Says Online Response Is What He Expected It To Be
Alex Kane discusses his recent MLW World Heavyweight Championship loss.
At the Superfight pay-per-view on February 3, Alex Kane’s reign with the MLW World Heavyweight Championship came to an end, as the leader of the ‘Bomaye Fight Club’ lost the belt to Satoshi Kojima. Kane’s reign with the title was celebrated by many fans, as he was the star that ended the lengthy 600+ day title reign of Alex Hammerstone.
Alex Kane recently sat down with J Rose, Stephen Wolf, and Righteous Reg for a Indied roundtable discussion. In the chat, Kane talked about losing the title to Kojima and how he has navigated the response to the title change.
“It’s been wild. We all know what wrestling is, so I knew what was going to happen, but I was intrigued to know what the response would be — and the response online was exactly what I thought it would be. But no man, I’m good. I’m going to wreck shop even more than I have after this loss, so whomever is up next on the docket, they’re in for a world of hurt.”
It was recently announced that Satoshi Kojima will be missing NJPW/CMLL Fantasticamania shows due to injury. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
