Zeus is coming off a big run at this year’s AJPW Champion Carnival where he defeated Kento Miyahara in the tournament finals. Zeus then got a chance to challenge Triple Crown Champion Suwada as a result of winning the tournament last month, but was unsuccessful in capturing the title.
Zeus is currently scheduled to team with Shigehiro Irie for AJPW’s Real World Tag League set to begin later this month and end in December. AJPW did not mention if there would be any changes to the schedule or format as a result of Zeus testing positive for COVID-19.
