AJ Styles vs. Grayson Waller, Crowbar On A Pole Match, And More Set For 1/11/22 NXT 2.0
The January 11 episode of NXT 2.0 is beginning to take shape.
At New Year’s Evil, AJ Styles made an appearance and called out Grayson Waller, the outspoken young Superstar with whom he has been feuding. Despite facing Omos last night, AJ offered to fight Waller, but his challenge was turned down. Waller then suggested they meet in the main event next week before trying to cheap-shot AJ. The Phenomenal One, however, saw it coming and countered, sending Waller to the outside and telling him that he’d see him next week.
Additionally, the feud between Pete Dunne and Tony D’Angelo continues as the two men will meet in a Crowbar on a Pole match. The first man to capture the crowbar can use it on their opponent. Dunne defeated D’Angelo a couple of weeks ago but had his hand smashed with a crowbar after the bell.
Finally, Santos Escobar and Xyon Quinn will do battle, with the winner walking away with Elektra Lopez. Though she says that family comes first, Elektra says she is attracted to success and knows that she is a difference-maker for whoever she is with. After a couple of months of eyeing Xyon, Elektra’s allegiances will finally be known.
