AJ Styles Says He Suffered A Broken Ankle At WWE Live Event, Doesn’t Need Surgery
AJ Styles provides an update on his injury.
At the December 29 WWE live event in Hershey, PA, AJ Styles suffered an injury and needed help to the back. Styles took a back drop over the top and landed awkwardly. He tried to get back in the ring, but tagged out and went to the outside, clutching at his leg/ankle. The referee threw up the “X” and officials came out to help him.
Taking to social media, Styles revealed he suffered a broken ankle, but no surgery is needed.
Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I’ve ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.
