AJ Styles Has Praise For Hell In A Cell, Ideas For Big New Feuds

AJ Styles may have lost his US Title match at Hell in Cell, but he thinks it was SmackDown's best solo PPV of the year. And he's got some pitches ready for WWE Creative for what he wants to do next.

"I believe that it was the best big show that we've put on this year," Styles told Spanish site Planeta Wrestling. "I think from top to bottom there were great matches, and they were all a little bit different from start to finish. It started with Hell In A Cell, it ended with Hell In A Cell, surprises happened, I thought that it was a really great show. It was the best of the year."

Styles lost his US Title rematch last night, but he seems to have his eyes set on his next rivalry. On Talking Smack after HIAC, Styles offered to help Shane McMahon against their rival Kevin Owens and his former-best-friend-then-former-rival-now-best-friend-again Sami Zayn.

When asked if the hypothetical two-on-two match might happen at Survivor Series, AJ was non-committal but certainly wasn't AGAINST the idea. He definitely wants a piece of Kevin Owens though.

"I didn't think about it when I said it, but it certainly could be," he began. "Shane and I have got a lot of respect for each other especially after WrestleMania, and the guy's a stud, so you've got to respect that about him. I've never really liked Kevin Owens and now that Sami Zayn has joined his crew, it doesn't make me like Sami Zayn anymore. So you never know, it may happen."

Finally, Styles was asked if he was a little jealous seeing the Shield get back together again on RAW, and whether he'd like to reform The Club with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to have a little Six Man action.

"Absolutely. I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we've done before. There's no doubt about it," he said.
